(Corona) COVID-19 vaccine registration for 18 to 45 years: How to register via CoWin portal, Aarogya Setu app

 

Amid surging COVID-19 cases in the country, the Central Government had introduced final week that every one citizens above the age of 18 will be capable to get COVID-19 vaccine from May 1 onwards. At the moment, only people above the age of 45, healthcare and frontline employees are being administered the vaccine. Be that as it may, everyone over the age of 18 will be eligible to get the vaccine from May 1.

It will be mandatory to enroll by CoWIN portal or Aarogya Setu application to get a COVID-19 vaccine jab, official sources stated on April 25.

How to register on the Co-WIN web site

1. Go to cowin.gov.in and log in with your mobile number
2. Click on on 'Get OTP' button, and enter the OTP when you receive it. Click on the verify button
3. After verification, the 'Registration for Vaccination' web page will open
4. Enter personal details, such as photo ID proof
5. The web page will ask you probably have any comorbidities, you'll be able to answer this by clicking on 'yes' or 'no'
6. Click on on 'Register' button on the bottom right after you enter all the details
7. You'll receive a confirmation message in your registered mobile number
8. Once registered, you can be shown the 'Account Details" web page, the place you'll be able to schedule your appointment
9. Click on the 'Schedule Appointment' tab and set your appointment as per your want

How to register the Aarogya Setu app on Android, iOS

1. Download and Install Aarogya Setu application for Android and iOS
2. Register your self on the Aarogya Setu app using the on-screen instructions
3. Click on the 'Vaccination' tab.
4. Enter your mobile number and confirm it via the OTP.
5. Now, register for vaccination by filling up the necessary details..
