Install Windows 10 From USB In this post, we are going to see the right way to clean set up Windows 10 Using a USB flash drive, on a separate partition. This process may even be used if you wish to dual-boot it with one other operating system. For this, you'll have to first create bootable USB media from ISO for Windows 10. You may even create a separate partition, with no less than 16 GB space, using the built-in Disk Management tool, if you plan to dual-boot it. This is one of its system requirements.

Having finished this, you'll have to set your computer to boot from a USB device. Please be very careful when you change the settings right here, lest it makes your computer un-bootable.

To do that on my Dell laptop computer, I've to restart it and keep pressing the F2 key to enter the Boot Options Setup.  Here you'll have to change the boot order. If your device makes use of Secure Boot / UEFI, you'll have to change it to Legacy. This is how the default setting appeared on my laptop.

Use the four arrow keys of your keyboard, navigate to the Boot tab, and change the settings. Disable Secure Boot, allow Legacy option, and set Boot List choice to Legacy. Note for Windows 10 users: If you improve to Windows 10, the brand new OS will take the product key and activation details out of your earlier OS. These are then saved on Microsoft servers, alongside along with your PC details. If you clean set up Windows the primary time, it's possible you'll face activation issues. If you carried out an upgrade the first time, activated Windows 10, and then clean installed Windows 10 on the same PC, then there can be no activation points, because the OS will pull activation details from Microsoft servers. So, in case your Windows 10 isn’t activated, we propose you not carry out a clean set up the first time. First Upgrade the first time, Activate it after which Clean Install.

On the restart, your computer will boot from the USB, and show the next display screen. If that you must see the larger version of any image, please click on the images.

Choose the Language to install, the Time & Currency format and the Keyboard or Input technique, and click on Next. You will see the next display screen. Click on Install Now.

The setup will begin.

You can be offered with the License phrases. Accept it and click on Next.

Once the installation is completed, bear in mind to reverse the changes in the Boot Option setup.
